Setting the bar. Delta barbells have taken years to perfect—melding customer feedback, extensive testing, and countless repetitions by a variety of athletes, all backed by years of expertise in crafting high-quality, innovative gym equipment. That’s how we can confidently promise that these will be the finest barbells you’ve ever used.
This barbell is a symbol of Delta Fitness, which was established in Illinois. This 20 kg bar is a high-end, multipurpose barbell that is available in a range of Cerakote colors, including black, blue, and red. The Cerakote finish is the highest end finish available and is comparable to or better than a stainless barbells.
The Illinois barbell is versatile and works well for powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, and cross-training/HIIT workouts. During high-rep exercises, its medium-depth, mountain-style knurling will give you strong grip support without causing hand wear. The 20 kg Illinois Bar's smooth sleeves and 28 mm diameter shaft make it simple to load and unload weight. Composite bushings offer increased durability together with a smooth and steady rotation. Additionally, the bushings have a damping effect that lessens noise in the event that the barbell is dropped. Premium endcaps with a distinct design complete the Illinois Bar.

How does this bar compare to others on the market?
This bar is Delta Fitness' flagship bar and one that was designed and analyzed with meticulous detail. Never before has a Cerakote barbell been this affordable. Delta could not be prouder of the materials and finish on this barbell and when it comes to the finish and value of the Illinois bar, their is no other bar on the market that can compete.
What is a Cerakote finish?
Cerakote is a thin, protective, ceramic-polymer coating that increases the durability and corrosion resistance of the steel, while adding the ability to customize color.
What does knurl style mean?
The crosshatch pattern on a barbell's shaft that improves your hands' grip on the bar is called knurling. We use three different knurl styles in all of our barbells: mountain, volcano, and hill. The most passive knurling is hill-style, which avoids digging into your hands to provide lifts. Although it is a fantastic choice for training bars, we suggest a different style bar if you want to go all out. Volcano is the most popular knurl type seen on many of our weightlifting and mixed-purpose bars.
What is the purpose of knurl markings on a barbell?
The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) and the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) have two main guidelines for where to place knurl markings on a barbell. The knurl marks give athletes a vision for even hand placement on the barbell and help them set up correctly for the lift.
How much weight can I load on this bar?
The 20kg Illinois bar is rated for 1,500 lbs
